In this piece, I've explored the raw power of nature, using acrylic, modeling paste and sand to create depth and texture. The bold, tactile strokes evoke the primordial strength of the earth—the interplay between light and dark captures a turbulent, emotional energy. It's a minimalist yet expressive testament to resilience, designed to bring a dynamic and contemplative presence into any space.

This artwork is from my Lava Art Series inspired by solid lava fields in my native country Iceland.  Painted on gallery wrapped canvas, stretched on wooden frame and stapled on the back, the edges, 2 cm are painted in black.  Framing is not required and the artwork comes ready to hang and enjoy. Signed and dated on the back and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
